Suicide Bombings Kill Iranian Commander

At least 40 people were killed, including five Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander, in a suicide bomb attack in the Pishin area, Sarbaz City, Sistan-Baluchistan province, southeastern Iran, on Sunday (18/10). There was no immediate claim responsibility for the attack which also wounded dozens of people were.
IRNA News Agency reported, the commander of revolutionary guards who died in between is the Deputy Commander of Land Forces, General Ali Noor Shooshtari, and Commander of Sistan-Baluchistan province, Gen Rajab Ali Mohammadzadeh. Another 37 dead were members of Revolutionary Guards and the local tribal leaders.
The attack occurred when the officers to guard the revolution was the location of a meeting with local leaders of Sunni and Shia communities in Pishin. This attack allegedly carried out the Jundullah militant group recently launched vigorous action regular attacks in the province which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan.
