Australians have pulled the agenda this weekend, watching the race solar-powered car in the bioenergy arena World Solar Challenge. This competition is not just race but also speed endurance contest, because these cars would travel as far as 3000 kilometers from Darwin to Adelaide.

In the pilot course, some participants experienced technical problems which delayed the start. If there are no constraints, is expected take at least three days to complete the journey. This event was first held in 1987. Not only to spur creativity automotive companies, but also as an environmentally friendly campaign.
